Our client is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Business Development Manager to join their team in Sydney. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with new prospects, understand their logistic needs, and contribute significantly to the growth of the business in Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for pursuing leads, moving them through the sales cycle, and assisting in the development of quotes and proposals for prospective clients. This role requires travel on the East Coast of Australia, with occasional global travel a possibility.

As a Business Development Manager in the team, you will be at the forefront of their operations, engaging with new prospects to understand their unique logistic needs. You will be instrumental in driving growth in Australia by pursuing leads, moving them through the sales cycle, and assisting in developing compelling quotes and proposals for prospective clients. Your role will also involve maintaining the CRM database, providing valuable market feedback, coordinating marketing activities, and establishing strong relationships with potential clients. Your active participation in industry trade shows will further enhance our brand's visibility.

The ideal candidate for this Business Development Manager role brings a wealth of experience from previous senior-level sales roles. You have worked within capital project environments and have a deep understanding of the material handling industry. Your commitment to delivering outstanding customer service is evident in your ability to identify and provide high-standard solutions that exceed customer expectations. You are adept at building and maintaining strong relationships across all levels of the industry. Your excellent communication skills, both oral and written, complement your high standards of performance for your own work and that of others.
