Our employees are our most valuable asset, and we strive to maintain an open culture that encourages a flexible and hands-on working style.Function: DistributionDepartment: Distribution - Asia Pacific - AustraliaPurpose: To work as a member of the distribution team to achieve the firm's business goals by generating new funds flow from both new and existing clients in Australia and New Zealand.Main Duties & Responsibilities:Drive new business growth across all GAM products in Australia and New Zealand by working with senior members of the distribution team to deliver on client requests.Engage with current wealth advisory clients.Develop new wealth advisory prospects.Work with key influencers such as platforms and asset consultants.Organise events including roundtables and road shows, and maintain the CRM and relevant distribution lists.Qualifications & Requirements:Minimum 5 years relevant experience in asset management.Knowledgeable about a wide range of investment products with a good understanding of alternative investments.University graduate or higher degree; postgraduate qualifications such as CFA and CAIA are highly regarded.Personal Attributes:Proven track record of successfully planning, organising, and implementing a distribution strategy.Acts with integrity and professionalism, adhering to GAM's principles, policies, and procedures.Adapts readily to change and demonstrates accountability for own behaviour.Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and positive engagement with others.Proactive, 'can-do' individual who consistently delivers on commitments.Strong client relationship management skills and excellent team player.Able to achieve operational goals and work well under pressure.Benefits: GAM offers a comprehensive range of benefits and performance-based compensation, along with various lifestyle and family benefits to promote well-being in and out of the workplace.
