Purpose As the Business Development Manager, your primary focus will be driving new business across all market segments, with a particular emphasis on corporate and conference events for The Adnate – Art Series hotel. Additionally, you will represent Accor more broadly when required, championing its diverse portfolio and brand values.
In this role, you will identify revenue opportunities, convert sales leads, and oversee all aspects of conference and event operations—from the initial enquiry through to post-event follow-up. Your goal will be to deliver exceptional event experiences and position both The Adnate and Accor as the preferred choice for corporate, conference, wedding, and incentive events.
This role is based in Perth and offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to work between The Adnate and, on occasion, from home. Some travel may be required, with specific working arrangements to be discussed during the interview process.
Primary Responsibilities Identify and develop new business opportunities across Corporate and Conference & Events (C&E) markets, including niche revenue streams.Respond promptly to conference sales enquiries, prepare proposals, conduct follow-ups, and convert leads into bookings.Conduct site inspections, host familiarisations, and attend industry events to generate and maximise new business leads.Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, clients, and regional stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and ongoing opportunities.Analyse market data, including agency 360 and property performance reports, to identify growth opportunities and optimise revenue.Prepare and communicate activity plans, forecasts, and pipeline updates to senior leadership teams.Collaborate with sales and operational teams to ensure seamless event execution and maintain client satisfaction throughout all stages of an event.Skills and Experience To be successful in this role you will have a proven track record of performance, as well as:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within a hotel or resort environment.Strong sales and business development focus, with a proven ability to identify and drive opportunities.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders.Exceptional time management, organisational skills, and attention to detail.Demonstrated ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and make sound, commercially driven decisions.Self-motivated with a passion for hospitality, a professional demeanour, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.At Accor, we welcome you as you are.
