The Role As a Business Development Manager, you will lead and coach our hybrid sales team ensuring they have the tools needed to reach potential in delivery of service to our customers. You will also have the opportunity to foster key relationships on behalf of Brownes with multi-site owner customers.
Role Responsibilities Lead, coach and develop sales team to increase capability to ensure the business unit growth is in line with the business targets, through consistent in-field training routines, and implementation of a structured learning and development program.Provide constructive problem solving, facilitating creative improvements and inspiring others.Be an effective leader within the team, motivating the team to succeed.Achieve team performance through effective People Management.Deliver increased shelf share of Brownes products across customer base.Grow portfolio range in current customer base and develop profitable partnerships.Conduct team meetings with an agenda that includes, safety, sales update, NPD plans and targets, top 10 customer plans by rep, shelf share targets and updates.Requirements: A thorough understanding of P&L management and sales reporting to ensure targets are met.Understanding of contract management, pricing structures and category drivers.Be a strategic and forward thinker.Well-developed influencing style and ability to negotiate at all levels.Collaborative style and ability to work effectively with people from all departments.Ability to manage change, multi-task as well as work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Proven experience in developing insight-based customer plans.A current Driver's License.What do we offer: A great culture – we love being the best and we love what we do.5 Weeks annual leave.Employee rewards program.Various health and wellbeing discounts i.e. private health, hotels, gyms.Employee Assistance Program.Apply: To apply for this role, please submit a CV and covering letter that best shows your relevant skills and experience.
