THE COMPANY:Our client teaches professionals the skills to identify, prevent & de-escalate crises in the workplace.
They are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to join their growing team and drive business growth across the education sector & emerging markets. THE ROLE:Reporting to the Sales Manager, you'll play a key role in driving new business and renewing existing client relationships.
Your responsibilities will include: Collaborating with the Sales and Marketing teams to meet annual new business and renewal revenue targets. Developing and executing sales and marketing strategies to expand into new sectors. Identifying and engaging with key decision-makers and influencers to understand their training needs and propose tailored solutions. Managing customer orders, pricing, and information, ensuring accurate data entry into the CRM system. Conducting a mix of cold calling, lead follow-ups, and attending trade shows and industry events to generate opportunities. Preparing sales strategies, pricing proposals, and training implementation plans in partnership with the Director of Sales. Maintaining detailed customer records and collaborating with marketing on campaigns that align with sales strategies. YOU:The ideal candidate is a proactive, people-oriented professional with at least 2-4 years of experience in selling services or products.
You have a proven track record of developing new business and managing existing client relationships. Key qualities we're looking for: Previous experience in Business Development within similar sectors is essential, with a strong preference for candidates from the education industry. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen and understand client needs. Strong problem-solving skills and a solutions-driven mindset. Confidence, patience, and politeness in handling various situations. Ability to influence, persuade, and motivate, finding win-win solutions for clients.
