Business Development Manager

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to support our clients and manage sales activities for our Perth Depot based in Welshpool. About GKR Transport
GKR Transport was established in 1985 and currently we have depots in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia, Western Australia and Queensland. GKR specialises in the supply of transport, storage, and logistics services to a various range of industries. We have extensive experience in providing practical and affordable solutions to our clients in the automotive, industrial, heavy haulage, oil and gas, mining and manufacturing sectors. Key Responsibilities
Develop, present and secure new business Understand the current Transport market Understand GKR customers and develop opportunities for the correct strategic fit for the business Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with existing and potential customers and continue to meet customer requirements through analysis of customer freight profiles Conduct site and customer visits across Perth areas.
Key Requirements
Proven work experience as a Business Development Manager or relevant role within the Transport and Logistics Industry Ability to develop business through networking and developing relationships Proven track record of converting leads to sales Excellent negotiation skills Solid experience with software programs and CRM's Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude Ability to work under pressure Excellent verbal and written communication skills Great interpersonal skills Positive mindset and attitude at all times
