This global privately owned organisation that specialises in high quality valves is seeking an experienced BDM/Account Manager in Western Australia. In this role, you will be working with and reporting directly to the State Manager and National Sales Manager, maintaining strong relationships with key accounts and working to grow new clients within your territory.
You will focus mainly within the Mining and General Industry sectors but will have the freedom to expand into other markets as the need arises. You will actively engage current clients as well as new ones to build a strong pipeline of future project opportunities, in conjunction with developing local industries with a steady pull through. This is the key to the future success of the role.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Proactively build and maintain effective business relationships with new and existing customers operating within the region, driving new business and growth.
Lead Tender Submissions, Tracking, and Handover.
Develop and Implement sales and marketing plans and strategies for the region.
Review, evaluate, and report on sales activities and initiatives periodically.
Work in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to deliver strategic tenders and projects.
Identify, target, and capture key projects for the Ebro Product Range.
Develop and maintain a sales plan to achieve a strong and consistent presence in target markets within WA.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years BDM/Account Management Experience.
Experience selling into Mining companies and Mine Sites.
Experience working with EPCs, Designers, and SMP Contractors.
Sound understanding of Mining Process and Applications.
Ability to cold call and generate new business.
Ability to travel within Western Australia.
Energetic and enthusiastic personality with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience working with EPC and valves is highly regarded.
You will be provided with comprehensive product training, and the company will work with you to ensure you have a sound understanding, along with your initial sales plan in place so you can hit the ground running. You will have a competitive base salary, company vehicle, and commission on all sales.
