kwik-ZIP Spacers is a privately owned ISO 9001 certified Company that designs, manufactures and supplies its patented centralizer and spacer systems to many industry sectors including production well drilling, trenchless pipeline, HDD, civil, ground engineering and construction.
The company was founded by the existing owners in 2000 following the development of its initial centralizer product.
kwik-ZIP has established distributors in Australia, New Zealand, United States and Great Britain and has a Head Office and Warehouse in Bayswater, Perth WA and maintains warehouse facilities in Sydney, Dallas (Texas, USA), and Leicester (UK).
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team based in Perth as a Business Development Manager.
In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for engaging with current and prospective customers across a broad range of industry sectors to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Working within the existing national sales team, provide product technical support to kwik-ZIP customers and actively participate in the sales and quoting processes for kwik-ZIP products.Engage directly with new and existing customers for the purpose of business development activities with a view to assisting the growth of sales across current and new industry sectors.Represent kwik-ZIP at relevant industry events including exhibitions and technical forums.Carry out inventory management and order dispatch tasks and activities for the Perth Warehouse including ad-hoc deliveries as required.Maintain and continually develop knowledge on kwik-ZIP products and their existing and potential applications across all current and potential new industry sectors.Assistance with education of the market and regulatory authorities to promote use of kwik-ZIP products.Consistent direct contact with all kwik-ZIP customers including contractors and distributors including on-site visits for training and feedback.Experience / Qualifications Required: A strong track record in technical sales in an industrial, engineering, construction, drilling or similar related industries.Sound engineering and commercial aptitude.Ability to work across many different industry sectors to identify potential opportunities for business product offerings based on customer and industry requirements.Strong attention to detail.Exceptional time management and organisational skills.Ability to travel frequently with a current driver's license.Competent with computer systems including Customer Relationship Management Systems.High level of self-motivation with a preference for a commission based system of remuneration.Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.Highly developed interpersonal skills.Able to travel intrastate and interstate as required.What's in it for you?
