About the role The Business Development Manager is pivotal in establishing and nurturing strong customer relationships, driving sales, and enhancing brand awareness.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Strategic Planning and Execution: Collaborate with the Group Manager – Wholesale and Customer Service to develop and implement a comprehensive business development plan that aligns with Huon's sales strategy.
This includes creating annual plans, scheduling promotional activities, and adapting strategies to meet market and company needs. Sales and Market Expansion: Drive sales growth and increase market share by identifying key market segments, supporting the sales and marketing team to enhance efficiency and sales conversations, and leveraging opportunities to promote Huon's Freshers Rewards program. Brand Advocacy and Relationship Management: Act as a brand ambassador for Huon, building and maintaining strong connections with customers and stakeholders to support business growth and enhance customer trust. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Develop, implement, and monitor a state-level business development plan aligned with the National Sales Strategy.
Generate and analyse sales reports to track performance, provide insights, and support team objectives. About you You bring extensive experience in Business Development and sales environments with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets. You have exceptional communication with the ability to confidently lead and inspire a team. You have a talent for building and nurturing strong professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You are innovative, generating creative ideas and actively contributing to industry events. You have a proactive approach to achieving goals through effective planning and time management skills.
