Australian Tyre Traders QLD are looking to grow and build our footprint across Australia; we are seeking a competitive, engaging, and high-achieving Business Development Manager / Sales Executive to help us continue to build our business activities in Central QLD. In this challenging and rewarding role, you will be responsible for discovering and pursuing new sales prospects and closing deals, facing customers and winning business. The goal is to meet and surpass the company's expectations to drive rapid and sustainable growth.
About You:Reporting to the National Mining Manager, this is a full-time permanent role. As a sales professional, you understand the importance of not only having great relationships, but also the tenacity and drive to ensure that every time you leave a meeting, nothing is left on the table.
You don't necessarily require years of experience in tyres; what you will need is proven business-to-business experience, a proven track record in developing agents and/or dealer networks, the ability to network, a desire to learn, and most importantly, the want to get out on the road and build our brand's footprint.
Your Role Responsibilities:Sales: competitive, engaging, and high-achieving
Sell our products, answer queries, and become an expert in the field. Yes, you will have a target, but you will see that as just a starting point, not the end destination.As the Sales Executive, you will be the first point of contact for all your clients. You will need to negotiate the needs of your customers as well as the needs of the business.A large part of what we do is helping our dealers to increase their exposure through strong marketing plans that enhance our brands in the market.Deliver results in deals and act as a focal point for our brands within your region.Travel:The Sales Executive role will be based in Mackay, servicing a portion of Regional Queensland, so travel will be required.We want to ensure that you have work-life balance, so by following a structured call cycle, you should be away from home no more than 8-10 nights per month.Administration:To ensure that our team has every opportunity to shine, part of your working week will involve reporting on your weekly, monthly, and quarterly activity.The plan isn't just to tick the boxes for your KPIs. It will also help your Manager to work with you on strategy, coaching, and support.About the Company:As a nationwide organization, Australian Tyre Traders designs and manufactures tyres and wheels for agricultural, truck, industrial, and off-road applications through our four premium brands: Harvest Tyres (Agricultural), Ascenso Tyres (Agricultural Tyres), Haulmax Tyres (Truck Tyres), and Halitrax Tyres (OTR & Industrial Tyres).
