We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team in Newcastle.
As a BDM, you will be primarily responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities for the region.
Brennan is split into multiple operating units including IT Services, Voice and Data, Telephony, Hardware Procurement, and Software Development.
The successful BDM is expected to prospect across all service categories and develop a strong rapport with customers.
The successful candidate will have a well-structured sales approach and can leverage their existing relationships in the industry to drive new business and partnerships.
This role will be working from our Newcastle office.
Key Responsibilities: Utilise Digital and social media to implement your personalised lead generation campaign to grow your pipelineFocus will be to close net new business with a focus on revenue and GP in the enterprise spaceYou will be provided a list of prospects but you will be expected to leverage your own existing network and the partner/vendor communityYou will have at your disposal, a dedicated Customer Engagement Team that will set up alignment calls with new leads.Plan and support local marketing activities to agreed budgets and timelines and integrate personal sales efforts with other organized marketing activities.Maintain the data in the Sales CRM system relating to Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities and Activities to help us to continually refine our sales and marketing strategy.To achieve success, this role requires the following Competencies and Experience: Minimum 10 years experience ICT sales experienceDemonstrated ability to position and present at a C-suite levelProven ability to manage large, complex whole of business IT and Telecommunications solutionsConsultative sales experience and approachDemonstrated ability to manage the sales process and pipelineDemonstrated skills in negotiation, organisation, and time managementNote: As part of our hiring process, you will be required to undertake a National Criminal History Check.
