Peppers Craigieburn possesses a reputation as one of the region's premier venues for accommodation, leisure stays, conferencing, weddings, and retreats, and Peppers Manor House offers guests an indulging leisurely stay within a grand country house exuding old world country charm.PurposeAs the Business Development Manager supporting our Peppers Hotels in the Southern Highlands, you will focus on driving our events business at both Peppers Manor House and Peppers Craigieburn. Building strong client relationships will be at the core of your responsibilities, along with promoting our initiatives through creative marketing approaches.Work Your Way – This part-time role, based in Sydney offers the flexibility of a hybrid working arrangement, with a commitment of three days per week.Primary ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement effective sales strategies for promoting and selling event spaces, packages, and services to potential clients.Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, event planners, and organisers to secure bookings and encourage repeat business.Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand local market trends.Create tailored event proposals and finalise contracts with clients, including terms, pricing, and event details.Prepare and present regular sales reports to hotel management, detailing performance against targets and market trends.Review and analyse client feedback and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance future events.Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in sales or business development roles.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with local businesses, community leaders, and clients.Proficient in analysing sales data, generating reports, and gaining feedback to improve strategies and services.Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with other hotel departments.Experience negotiating contracts and agreements with clients and partners.At Accor, we welcome you as you are.
