Our client is currently seeking a fulltime Business Development Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for the planning, organising and business development of our key customer accounts driving a strong, positive customer interaction and business achievement.You will also be responsible for:Strategic and operational responsibility and lead contact for specific customer accounts, controlling business development activities of the company.Managing and developing key account KPIs for target achievement and working with internal functions to deliver the required support and service.Proactive development of new product and account opportunities.Strong networking and relationship building across the customer account at a head office and branch level.Engagement and management of key stakeholders both internal and external across the customer network and group.Working closely with account partners to manage and maintain range integrity and competitiveness.Identify and attract prospective strategic customers.Stay up to date with internal and external developments and suggest new ways to increase overall business performance.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have the following experience and skills:Proven experience and success as a key Business Development Manager.Strong customer orientation and commitment to a great customer experience.Good understanding of the general civil industry/water infrastructure market is preferred.Proven ability to work independently with a high degree of initiative and personal motivation.Strong result orientation and a 'can do' mindset.Ability to work well within and across teams.Strong communication skills and ability to manage a wide-ranging technical and commercial conversation.Availability to travel as required.Salary will be dependent on skills and experience.Please note only successful candidates will be contacted.
