Business Development Manager We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) with a proven track record of success in BD to join our Interleasing business and source new Leasing (cars) agreements and asset management clients (fleets of cars and some heavy machinery).
We are looking for a BDM who can build on already identified leads from the previous BD Manager and keep momentum with existing pipelines.
You will also be able to identify new opportunities, comfortably present to CFOs, Heads of Procurement and/or Heads of Finance to acquire and activate new business both within and outside a tender environment.
Our head office is in Chatswood where you will spend your time strategic planning with your peers on Wednesday and Thursdays.
Monday, Tuesday and Fridays you will be working from home or meeting with clients in Sydney Metro and Newcastle from time to time.
Key responsibilities: Build on the previous employee's years of BD to keep obtaining new businessDevelop strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed new business targetsCapture, track and report on all sales activity including lead generation and pipeline activityBe involved in industry forums and events to assist in developing business relationships leading to new prospectsCross-sell our novated leasing products and servicesManage the production of all sales proposals and quotesWith your peers work on large tendersYou will bring: Experience in business to business (B2B) salesA track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in B2BResults orientatedStrategic relationship building focusSound commercial acumenConfidence meeting and providing solutions for senior executivesHighly developed influencing and negotiation skillsAbility to cope with competing demands and successfully prioritise outcomesAbout Interleasing: A subsidiary of the ASX-listed McMillan Shakespeare Limited, Interleasing helps companies across a range of sectors in Australia and New Zealand maximise the value and expenditure of their assets (vehicles and heavy machinery).

You don't have to have experience in any of the above industries; our staff will be able to train you.
