Business Development Manager - Fit-Out & Refurbishment - Sydney Join a dynamic and growing construction company specializing in high-end commercial Fit-Out and Refurbishment projects.
With a reputation for delivering exceptional quality and maintaining strong client relationships, we are seeking a proactive and driven Business Development Manager to help us expand our footprint and drive growth in the market.

Key Responsibilities: Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the commercial Fit-Out and Refurbishment sector.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including property developers, architects, and project managers.
Market Research & Strategy: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights.
Develop and implement strategic plans to target new markets and client segments, aligned with company growth objectives.
Proposal Development & Negotiation: Lead the preparation of bids, proposals, and presentations, ensuring they align with client needs and company capabilities.
Negotiate contracts and terms to secure profitable and sustainable business deals.
Collaboration with Project Teams: Work closely with project teams to ensure a seamless transition from sales to project execution.
Ensure client expectations are clearly communicated and met throughout the project lifecycle.
Brand Promotion & Networking: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the brand and build a strong industry presence.
Develop and implement marketing initiatives to raise the company's profile.
Reporting & Forecasting: Provide regular updates to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities.
Contribute to financial forecasting and business planning processes.
Key Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in a business development role within the construction industry, with a focus on commercial Fit-Out and Refurbishment projects.
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Fit-Out and Refurbishment market, including key players, project cycles, and industry challenges.
Sales & Negotiation Skills: Proven track record of closing deals and driving revenue growth.
Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to secure high-value contracts.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and inspire clients and stakeholders at all levels.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute strategic plans that align with company objectives and market opportunities.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
