This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Business Development Manager who is passionate about service growth within the Access Control, Security, Automation, and Parking sectors.
As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients to expand our service offerings, develop new markets, and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction through tailored maintenance and service solutions.
What you will do with us: Respond to, and coordinate, tenders and quotations for targeted projects.Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients, focusing on growing service contracts, including ongoing maintenance, upgrades, and support for access control and parking systems.Identify and explore new business opportunities in the service sector, specifically focusing on after-sales support, system maintenance, and service-based contracts.Drive the expansion of service offerings to new and existing clients, ensuring that their parking and automation systems are performing at optimal levels.Work closely with technical teams to identify service needs and create tailored service solutions that meet client requirements for ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and system enhancements.Manage and grow service-related projects, including service contracts, system upgrades, and routine maintenance programs, ensuring long-term client retention.Establish a system for identifying clients requiring Preventative Maintenance Agreements (PMA).Oversee daily service-related activities, including managing client requests, scheduling maintenance visits, and ensuring timely delivery of services.What you will bring to this role: A highly motivated, proactive, and customer-focused approach to business development, with a passion for service excellence.Excellent communication skills, outgoing and experienced in working at different levels of organisations such as building managers, consultants, architects, and specifiers.Experience and knowledge of service contracts, maintenance solutions, and after-sales support within the access control and parking sectors with a focus on creating value through ongoing service relationships.A proven ability to manage service contracts, build long-term customer relationships, and successfully identify and close service-related opportunities.Industry knowledge of security systems, access control solutions, and automation technologies will be highly regarded, including familiarity with service management tools and systems.Why are we a great place to work?
