About the role:The role of a Business Development Manager is focused on driving growth and expanding the business opportunities of an organisation. This position involves identifying potential clients, establishing relationships, and closing deals to achieve sales targets. A successful Business Development Manager should possess strong interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, persuasive communication abilities, and a results-driven mindset.
Role & Responsibilities:Identify and research potential clients, industry sectors, and market trends. Generate leads through various channels, such as networking, cold calling, referrals, and online platforms.Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand their needs, challenges, and goals to provide tailored solutions and maintain client satisfaction.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop compelling business proposals and presentations. Customise proposals to address client requirements, showcase the organisation's value proposition, and win new business.Conduct sales presentations, negotiate terms, and close deals with clients. Meet or exceed sales targets by converting leads into successful contracts. Continuously manage the sales pipeline and forecast revenue projections.Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitors' activities. Analyse market data to identify potential opportunities for growth and develop strategies to stay ahead of the competition.Coordinate with marketing, customer, and other teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
