Work closely with clients to determine their present and future needs and propose suitable solutions Identify new business opportunities by researching the needs of potential customers Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities within allocated key accounts Develop and maintain strong knowledge of the company's products & services Participate and provide appropriate support in client presentations and proposal submissions to drive revenue growth opportunities for existing accounts Ensure all position-related data is inputted into the CRM system CANDIDATE EXPECTATIONS: The successful candidate must have the drive and willingness to learn a new industry and products. You'll be required to align with most of these requirements:
Relevant industry-related qualification 5+ years in project coordination/account management Experience in the management of accounts for large business A&D clients, with a proven track record of building strong relationships and providing exceptional service Experience selling lighting products to architects and designers is (must have) Strong product and industry knowledge Strong negotiation abilities Self-motivated, energetic, and positive nature to deliver above-quota performance Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills Strong organization, networking, and relationship skills Sales ability including strong negotiation skills and proven persuasive ability Appreciation of the value/importance of designated accounts, coupled with the ability to balance the needs of the organization and the client's organization THE COMPANY: Our client is a national lighting business that has decades of strong relationships with commercial and retail clientele, providing interior and exterior lighting solutions to new/existing builds.
