Sales and Business Development RolePackaging, Consumables and Palletising Solutions.Leading East Coast Company with 3 locations in Vic.Rewarding Role with Career Growth Potential.My client is a leading East Coast supplier of packaging, packaging consumables and palletising solutions servicing a broad array of clients and industries across Melbourne.
Due to continued growth of the business, they are looking to add to their Victorian sales team by appointing an experienced and energetic business development manager. This role is a mix of account management and business development. The split is circa 50/50. You will be provided with a base of existing customers but then expected to grow your territory over time.
The company has a growth projectory and this role would suit candidates wanting to grow their customer base and be rewarded for doing so. It is not an order taking role.
The company has quite a broad range of products able to be sold and markets directly to a mid teir client base. The ability to manage and develop a large portfolio of clients with an annual spend of between $50-$200k pa is essential.
Ideal candidates are most likely already selling into the packaging or palletising equipment and consumables space. However people selling into similar customer bases (i.e consumables or raw materials into the manufacturing sector or even direct office supplies or cleaning chemicals) should also consider applying.
We are open about your location. Preference will be given to candidates living in the southeastern or western suburbs of Melbourne. This role requires only occasional overnight travel and offers hybrid working arrangements. However, candidates residing outside the broader Melbourne metro/Geelong area will not be considered.
An attractive base salary, profit share commission structure weighted to new business growth and a generous car allowance is on offer to attract high calibre candidates.
