Abdex are seeking an experienced business development professional to join our Head Office in VIC.
Abdex Industries is a global leading manufacturer of specialist hose assemblies with manufacturing and testing facilities in VIC, WA, QLD, NSW and the UK.
Abdex predominantly service the Oil & Gas, Industrial Services, Hydraulic and Mining Industries. Our Head Office is equipped with the latest assembly, testing and servicing equipment as well as providing proof pressure testing, hose inspection and management services.
The Role: The job role will include the development of new business while also building relations with our extensive existing client base. To support the successful applicant, they will have access to an experienced inside sales team as well as supportive management and a in house marketing coordinator. 
The role is brand new and a great time to join our growing business in VIC, where our Head Office provides fantastic opportunities for growth of the business and the successful applicant. Whilst the role will cover all of VIC, NSW, SA and Tasmania.
You will be responsible for:
 
Promotion of region-specific products. Utilising our broad range of stocked products from our key supply partners including Parker, Gates, Contitech and UniflexGenerating sales in specialist sections of the industry.Providing quotations and technical feedback when required.New business development.

The successful applicant will possess the following attributes and experience:
Previous experience in a similar role is desired.
