The Position Managing a territory of Greater Melbourne this Business Development Manager will be responsible for the market development and account management of all of this companies' customers within their territory.
This role will have a division of time between meeting customers on-site in and working in the Laverton Head Office.
On any given day you will be performing the following tasks: Research potential clients in the oil, gas, and resource industries.
Schedule and conduct meetings with prospective clients.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations on fluid power and hydraulics.
Assess client needs and recommend appropriate hydraulic solutions.
Collaborate with the sales team to generate proposals and quotes.
Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure accurate product specifications.
Provide post-sales support and address client inquiries and concerns.
Stay updated on industry trends and new hydraulic technologies.
Attend trade shows and conferences to network and promote products.
Track and report sales activities and progress to management.
