We are recruiting for a Business Development Representative who will increase the number of new opportunities for TELUS Consumer Goods.
This role will develop and build a Sales Pipeline in accordance with the methodology set out by TELUS, providing key business insights regarding progression.
The Business Development Manager reports to the Head of Sales (APAC) and acts as one of the key operators within the APAC Sales & Customer Team, responsible for identifying and developing revenue growth.
The role is focused on the APAC region for TPx and Retail Execution products which may expand over time.Here's how:Run campaigns to drive consideration by FMCG companies to review TELUS solutions.Understand clients' needs to shape development programmes.Lead generation activity in order to fill the pipeline to meet sales quota.Find prospective new clients, from lead generation, internal leaders, and conferences.Nurture opportunities to the point of qualification.Generate new leads and opportunities to be worked with the Manager to close.Work with Marketing to determine annual marketing plans.Understand the competitive landscape and market trends.Effectively communicate our advantages over the competition.Work with Product Strategy to identify new propositions and offers aligned to each client's business and needs.Open conversations with new opportunities.Support the Head of Sales APAC in preparing business cases for customers.Engage resources from our product strategy and professional services teams to support sales cycles.What you bring to this roleProven experience in establishing a business development practice.Experience within the SaaS and Consumer Goods market space.Ability to maintain high energy levels and results driven.Excellent verbal communication, written and presentation skills.Experience and established network within the Consumer Goods / Retail industry.Effective time management and adaptability to changing priorities.Strong organization skills including prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and attention to detail.Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.Join usCollectively, our talented team and integrated solutions uniquely position us to transform collaboration within the industry at a global level, empowering and connecting producers to consumers for a more efficient, sustainable future.Everyone belongs at TELUS Agriculture & Consumer Goods.
