Our passion lies in leveraging space technology to address real-world challenges across various sectors, including agriculture, urban planning, environmental monitoring, and more. We are seeking a talented and driven Business Development Manager to join our team in Melbourne. As a BDM, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and expanding our market presence in the Melbourne region. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and promoting innovative spatial technology solutions. Responsibilities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Melbourne market, with a focus on the construction and commercial building industry Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, including Tier 1 and 2 Builders, Architects, and Suppliers Understand client needs and pain points to effectively articulate the value proposition of our products and services. Collaborate with the technical and marketing teams to develop tailored solutions and proposals that meet client requirements. Drive the sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure, ensuring a smooth transition to the implementation phase. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify strategic opportunities for growth. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote brand awareness and foster partnerships. Requirements: Existing network of Tier 1 and Tier 2 Builders, such as Construction Managers or Project Managers Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the construction or building sector. Strong understanding of spatial technology, satellite imagery, GIS, or related fields is highly desirable. Strong customer focus and solutions-based approach to client requirements Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. Willingness to travel as needed within the Melbourne region and occasionally nationally.
