As Business Development Manager your focus will be on growth and retention activities. In this dynamic B2B role, you'll be the driving force behind sharing groundbreaking clinical research and customer success stories with key stakeholders at veterinary and clinic owner levels. With strong commercial capability, you'll execute on sales. Day to day you will:
Drive business growth by identifying and engaging with new B2B customers in the vet industry Foster existing relationships providing support and resources aimed at meeting ongoing product needs Advocate product through offering lunch and learn programs to stakeholders Design and implement sales cyclical activities with a strategic mindset Conduct market analysis to commercially grow product adoption to increase sales and distribution Collect feedback for continuous improvement initiatives Are you the ideal candidate?
As an experienced business development professional, you will bring a proven track record in driving sales and growth. Previous sales experience in the vet industry and a passion for the animal health industry, will be key to success in this role. Other experience includes:
Skills in developing and executing a sales strategy (growth and retention) with a consistent and methodical approach Stakeholder engagement skills fostering long term relationships, whilst building trust and credibility High levels of attention to detail An ability to plan, organise and execute cyclical BD initiatives A driven, independent and autonomous workstyle Degree qualifications in Business, Animal Sciences or related (desired) Systems/CRM tools knowledge DL and flexibility to travel Already highly successful, our client is poised to continue expanding its B2B vet industry customer base.
