Due to growth, we're on the hunt for a highly driven and over-achieving Business Development Manager with an entrepreneurial spirit to join their thriving team. As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for hunting new business within your designated territory and work alongside the Sales Manager to ensure satisfactory delivery of products and services. About The Role You'll be a driving force in the success of the company's goals and objectives through exceeding individual sales quotas. You will cultivate and develop relationships with key stakeholders and be at the forefront of the sales and negotiation process, from the initial capabilities presentation until close. Actively drive new sales opportunities, build and manage a sales pipeline through prospecting efforts within your geographical territory Handle and respond to all sales enquiries and leads promptly Work with the Sales Manager to provide the appropriate solutions and products to exceed client expectations Constantly stay on top of technical / product knowledge Actively search for and pursue new business opportunities, including business networking, the reviewing and active participation, completion, submission and negotiation in relation to Expressions of Interest, Quotations and Tenders. Accurately forecast sales activity and revenue achievement through the proper use of sales tools and the understanding of the sales process What We're Looking For Track record of over-achieving quota in a current or past sales position. We don't want you to just hit your target, we want you to exceed them! Minimum 2 years sales experience in B2C or B2B A strong customer focus and the ability to identify client needs and solution sell A strong understanding of sales process and the ability to manage a strong pipeline of opportunities (minimum 6 months in advance) Ability to build strong long term partnerships Strong computer skills including Microsoft Ability to work autonomously A current driver's licence You Are Results oriented, hungry for knowledge with a desire to succeed professionally – you have an entrepreneurial spirit! Resilient with the ability to overcome objections Highly motivated self-starter, eager to learn and determined to adapt quickly Trustworthy and ability to work autonomously Dedicated to providing high quality customer service and positive results for clients A team player who enjoys collaborating and sharing knowledge Strong desire to succeed professionally and personally Results and goal driven – you always want to win!
