We are partnering with a leading FMCG organisation in the health and wellness space, leading the way in innovation across multiple categories - all centralised around convenience and better for you.They have a strong presence across the country, and their products are available through Grocery, P&C, Health Stores and D2C.As they continue to grow and scale, they are looking for a Business Development Manager, who wants to join a well-established and highly respected organisation, who are all about health, convenience and making an impact.When you walk in store as a BDM, you will be respected and welcomed due to the portfolio and performance of ranging - this is more about building current accounts and launching new NPD, rather than needing to always be looking for new opportunities.Key responsibilitiesBuild and nurture relationships with relevant category and store managers to grow accountsManage call cycle that reflects customer requirements and gradingDaily general reporting on call cycle visits for in-store activities, feedback and insightsCommunicate promotional cycle to the customer and prompt orders for current promotional activityReply to and actively pursue leads to secure new business and grow customer baseExecution and maintenance of relevant planogram for customers (where applicable)Utilise marketing assets to build displaysLaunch NPD into the accounts where product fit alignsGeneral sales support to the senior sales consultants while gaining insights into key account managementExperience RequiredFMCG experience is a must - ideally Food or Beverage, but open to broader categoriesExperience working in a similar role - Territory Manager, Business Development Manager, Sales Representative etc.Ideally you come with experience working across the Independents Channel (Grocery and/or P&C)Ability to work autonomously (role will still come with development and support)BenefitsWork for an organisation leading the way in innovation across key growth categories within Food & Beverage - centralised around healthCareer progression opportunities - although HQ is in Sydney, they can provide multiple examples where individuals in other states are being promoted, not limited to locationCulture is everything for this business - they are fast paced, collaborative and dynamic.
