THE COMPANY: World leading manufacturing business of electrical and fiber optic connectivity systems. Headquartered in the US, this company has over 100k staff globally with roughly 600 in Australia. Utilises a distributor network for product sales whilst also building relationships with installers, consultants and end users to win tenders. Is a well-established brand with a good reputation in the market for quality and service. Allows 100% remote working meaning your office is your home when you're not meeting clients. Creates a highly autonomous environment allowing you to plan your week around you. Offers a competitive bonus scheme with kickers once you meet budget. Works across most industry verticals focusing on health, education, government and defence. THE ROLE: Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for driving new business and growing existing client accounts across ACT and surrounds. You will be developing relationships with consultants, end users, installers and distributors. You will work closely with the customer service and technical support teams on pricing, delivery & technical queries. When not working from your home office you will be travelling as necessary to meet with clients on-site. You will be taking over a territory from a retiring predecessor who oversaw this client base for 18 years. You will create your own sales plan as well as produce reports on pipeline and other project information. ABOUT YOU: Previous experience working in data networking. The willingness to build relationships with installers, end users, consultants and distributors. Able to travel around Canberra + surrounds. Strong ability to influence, up-skill and foster ongoing relationships. You are self-managed... you know what needs to be done!
