Business Development Manager

Our Client is a global leader in critical infrastructure technologies and services, committed to pushing the boundaries of technology. With a focus on innovation and customer success, they're seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Business Development Manager to contribute to their exponential growth.The primary focus of this role is the acquisition of new business, selling our Client's innovative infrastructure solutions to data centre consultants, developers, partners, and end-users (data centre owners). You will play a crucial role in expanding our Client's market presence and managing key relationships to drive long-term business growth.Key Responsibilities: New Business Acquisition: Proactively identify and target potential business opportunities in the data centre market. Develop and execute strategies to win new clients and projects.Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with data centre consultants, developers, partners, and end-users (data centre owners) to understand their needs and position our Client as their partner of choice.Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies tailored to specific clients and market segments.Presentations & Proposals: Prepare and deliver high-impact presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to showcase our Client's value propositions.Market Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities and threats.Account Management: Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals and ensure smooth transitions to the account management team for ongoing client satisfaction.Networking: Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent our Client and expand your professional network within the data centre ecosystem.Collaboration: Work closely with internal technical, product, and support teams to ensure client requirements are met effectively.Qualifications:Experience: Minimum 5 years of business development or sales experience in the data centre, infrastructure, or related industry.Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in acquiring new business and achieving or exceeding sales targets.Network: Existing relationships within the data centre consultancy, development, or ownership space is highly desirable.Skills: Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills; ability to present to C-level executives and technical stakeholders.Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.Travel: Willingness to travel within the region as required.What Our Client Offers:Competitive salary, performance-based bonuses and car allowance.Carrier growth opportunities in Australia, APAC or globally.Opportunity to work with industry-leading technology and contribute to an exponential growth. #J-18808-Ljbffr
