The Business Development Manager role is focused on coordinating, developing and growing the engineering business for Intrax in the construction market in order to develop and create new business opportunities for the organisation.
The role will be based in our Queensland office and reports to the National Business Development Manager.
Your role will include, but will not be limited to: Develop new business opportunities, client relationships, and revenue streams within Intrax's field of operations.
Develop growth strategies and plans by identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs.
Manage CRM data and pipelines proactively.
Work closely with Marketing to develop effective B2B collateral and activities that suit your objectives.
Manage the end-to-end process of tenders for the procurement of engineering/field services business for the company.
Directly engage and influence the delivery teams that are managing opportunities you win, to ensure all projects are handed over to be managed effectively.
Proactively develop and grow the Land and/or Projects business of Intrax to meet forward strategic plans and objectives.
You will be successful in this role because: Minimum of 5 years' experience in a field or consulting role in a company delivering services in the building or infrastructure construction areas.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a B2B role with business development targets.
Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
Superior interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) to handle various customer and stakeholder groups, with a strength in building lasting values aligned relationships and rapport.
Demonstrated organisational and time management skills and the ability to handle various and multiple functions simultaneously, including the ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines.
Proven IT skills in Microsoft Word, databases and Excel, with the ability to learn other software systems (especially our CRM system) as required.
Strong analytical skills with focus on holistic (whole-of-business-level) problem solving.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment whilst.
demonstrating the ability to work independently and to use initiative.
