You'll play a critical role in expanding our client's reach within the security industry.
Desired Skills, Traits, and Experience: Skills: Proven Sales Expertise: A minimum of 5 years' experience in business development or sales, ideally within the technology, security, or a related industry.
Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.Strategic Thinking and Market Knowledge: Ability to analyse market trends, identify new business opportunities, and develop strategic plans to expand market reach and maximise sales opportunities.
Proven ability to position products or services in competitive markets.Negotiation and Closing Skills: Demonstrated experience negotiating and closing deals with senior-level stakeholders.
Strong understanding of sales cycles, decision-making processes, and how to influence client decisions.Relationship Management: Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to foster long-term partnerships with clients, industry stakeholders, and internal teams.
Experience working with key decision-makers and managing complex client portfolios.Communication and Presentation: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Experience delivering compelling sales presentations and proposals that align with client needs.Project Management: Ability to manage multiple sales projects simultaneously, from initial lead generation through to deal closure and after-sales service, while maintaining attention to detail.CRM Proficiency: Proficiency in using CRM systems (e.g., ZOHO) for tracking leads, managing client relationships, reporting, and ensuring data accuracy.Resilience and Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and handle rejection or setbacks positively.

Ability to balance short-term wins with long-term relationship-building.Collaboration and Teamwork: Demonstrated experience working collaboratively across departments (e.g., marketing, operations, product development) to ensure seamless client experiences and contribute to overall business growth.What to Expect in Your First 90 Days: In the first three months, you will:
Onboard and immerse yourself in the company's culture, values, and product offerings.Develop a strong understanding of the security market, our client's solutions, and key customer pain points.Work closely with the sales and leadership teams to establish goals, define key metrics, and develop your pipeline strategy.Begin building relationships with existing clients and potential new partners, focusing on understanding their needs and how our services can meet them.Generate and manage a pipeline of leads, working towards converting initial opportunities into sales.Identify and pursue strategic partnerships that align with the company's growth strategy.Participate in training and development programmes to refine your selling techniques and deepen your product knowledge.By the end of your first 90 days, you should have a clear vision of your targets, an active sales pipeline, and be well on your way to achieving key milestones.The Package: $125k OTE per annum minimum (uncapped earnings with 100% target achievement)Mobile Phone, iPad, and LaptopApplication Screening Criteria Are you an Australian citizen?How many years' experience do you have as a Business Development Manager?
