About the role We are seeking a Business Development Manager to help expand our LPG services across Queensland.
This role is based on the Sunshine Coast and will involve growing new business in remote areas, building relationships with local businesses, gas fitters, plumbers, and other customers.
The ideal candidate will have experience in cold calling, confidence in face-to-face interactions, and the ability to work autonomously.
The role involves opening new sales opportunities, closing deals, and transitioning clients to retention managers for ongoing account management.
Training on gas code requirements will be provided to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction.
Your responsibilities will include: Develop new customer leads through intensive cold calling and relationship building.
Connect with a diverse range of clients, from small business owners to blue-collar workers, including gas fitters and plumbers.
Set targets for sales volume, customer numbers, and profitability within your territory.
Use CRM tools to maintain an organized pipeline and report progress regularly.
What will you bring?
We're looking for someone who has sales and customer service expertise.
Proven experience in customer-facing roles, ideally in sales or business development, with a talent for building relationships.
You will have a positive, resilient approach to cold calling and closing sales, driven by enthusiasm for helping clients.
You will also be able to demonstrate.
Confidence in independently managing your schedule and achieving targets without constant supervision.
A knack for connecting with a diverse range of customers, from business owners to tradespeople.
A current and valid Australian driver's license.
