The Company This employer is a well-respected provider of Plant and Operator Hire that provides solutions, equipment and operators to companies from the construction, civil, earthworks, landscaping and demolition industries. This company supplies a comprehensive range of capital equipment and the associated operators for both short-term and long-term hire within the Southeast Queensland marketplace. The Role: In this Business Development Manager role, you would be working with customers from the construction, civil, earthworks, landscaping and demolition industries, to provide Wet-Hire Capital Equipment solutions, to ensure your clients have little to no 'down-time'. This role will suit someone that has good connections within the associated industries that also understands the nuances of selling a comprehensive service. Working with customers from varied industries means that few days would be the same. On an average day you will: Cold call potential customers Arrange face-to-face and remote meetings with new and existing companies Manage existing accounts Work with the in-house operations team and vetted sub-contractors to create bespoke solutions for customers Report into the Managing Director You'd be based from the Head Office located in the Eastern Suburbs of Brisbane, and you will cover an area including Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, and the surrounding area. The Package $110k pa - $120k pa + Superannuation Company car or car allowance A generous commission package Tools of the trade, including Mobile Phone, Laptop The Candidate: We're looking for a candidate with demonstrated sales experience, selling into relevant companies and industries, and someone that truly understands selling a bespoke service. Someone that is a self-starter, happy to get out to see clients on a regular basis and can work happily with a diverse team of sub-contractors, customer service, operations and senior management.
