As an international company, we are looking for a Business Development Manager to lead our Business Development activities in the Australia solar market. Qualifications Bachelor's degree from a reputable university. 6+ years' prior business development experience, of which at least 4+ years in the Australia solar energy sector. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proven knowledge of executing successful business development strategies. Ability to plan, coordinate/monitor all sales and marketing operations in Australia. Vast knowledge about market regulations, customary trends, and developments including innovative practices. Direct contact with customers, third parties, as well as other departments ensuring profitability is the main priority. Focused and goal-oriented with excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in written and spoken English. No travel restrictions. Responsibilities Identify partnership opportunities in Australia. Develop new relationships to grow business and help the company expand in the Australia market. Think critically when planning to assure project success. Market identification, investigation & knowledge. Propose and develop market strategy. Identify, contact, and establish relationships with targeted customers to generate leads and requests for quotations. Lead Go/No Go discussions in relation to new leads and RFQs. Coordinate communication with clients and internally during bid preparation. Prepare proposals and define appropriate price levels necessary to secure projects, respecting the company's target profit margin and approval procedure. Lead commercial discussions and negotiations until contract award. Coordinate with operational teams for handover upon award. Lead commercial aspects of ongoing projects in coordination with the project manager. Participate in the internal tender approval process for bids where required. Collect information relating to bids and organize it to support continuous improvement of the bidding process. Actively propose actions and participate in the continuous improvement process. Fulfill other duties assigned within the scope of responsibilities and work objectives. Why Join Us?
