Business Development Manager - Horizontal Directional Drilling About the role
We're looking for an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to deliver successful outcomes for securing projects within the horizontal directional drilling industry. This is a contract role working remotely and will focus on identifying and securing new business opportunities for our organisation. Working closely with the Director, you'll play a vital role in driving the company's expansion and revenue growth.
What you'll be doing Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to identify, target and win new clients. Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of potential leads and opportunities. Networking and prospecting to uncover new sales prospects. Preparing and delivering compelling quotations and tender presentations to senior decision-makers. Negotiating contract terms and closing deals to meet or exceed sales targets. Analysing market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to identify new business opportunities. Providing regular reporting on sales activities, pipeline progress and key metrics. What we're looking for Proven track record of success in new business development, must be within the utility sector and preferably with HDD experience. Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills. Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand and articulate complex value propositions. Consultative sales approach with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients. Highly organised and driven, with the ability to effectively manage a pipeline of opportunities. Relevant tertiary qualification in business, sales, marketing or a related field. What we offer
