Business Development Manager - High-End Commercial FurnitureOur client is a Global leader in Workspace Commercial Furniture - they design and manufacture product solutions that help the world's leading architects and designers create inspiring workspaces. They are on the lookout for an outgoing and reliable Business Development Manager to represent their renowned commercial furniture product to the Melbourne Architecture & Design market. You will be required to source and procure new leads, monitor projects, execute on time and to budget whilst maintaining great rapport with key clientele.Key ResponsibilitiesFill the "sales funnel" and close deals by actively targeting key client groups - especially Architect & Design (A&D) Firms, Real Estate, Project Management, large corporate end users and government.Work with the Sales Manager and General Manager to develop strategic alignment programs with select A&D and other key indirect accounts.Develop product presentation strategies based on "product for project" concepts. Conduct sales presentations to customers and offer products/solutions that meet client's expectations and support the product development strategy.Assist in developing marketing strategies for the company's products and services.Actively work to gain market intelligence, including information on competitive products, competitors' market activity, industry trends, future projects, etc.Work closely with the sales operations team to complete the sales cycle.Skills & ExperienceMinimum 3-5 years of sales and business development experience.Experience in the high-end luxury furniture / office furniture or related industry is preferred.Existing connections within the Melbourne A&D Industry.Experience of managing complex sales cycles with B2B selling processes in multinational companies.Option to WFH 1 day per week.Small, dynamic team.Stunning CBD Showroom.REFERENCE EI 67281If the above position appeals to you then please submit your CV to ****** and we'll be in touch.
