Business Development Manager – Height Safety (VIC – Melbourne) Are you a height safety professional looking for your next career step? Your new Company RISSafety is an Australian owned company operating throughout, specializing in height safety, building & roof access, and fall-protection solutions. We design, manufacture, and install safety access systems, working predominantly with Facility Managers, all levels of Government, Defence, and Construction companies. Your new role The role requires you to design and sell height safety and access solutions by working with current and new clients to identify the potential risks at their sites, and with our estimating team to produce solutions that reduce those risks, which you will present and sell to the client. We require a person who has previous experience in the height safety industry. Business Development Identifying and working with clients to develop solutions that improve site safety and protect people when they are working at heights. Completing site visits to understand client requirements and working with the design team to produce system designs and proposals for the client. Using a cloud-based Client Relationship System to enhance understanding of client requirements and deliver the best outcomes for the client. Preparing and presenting solution proposals to your clients. Seeking out and closing new sales opportunities while developing existing customer relationships to their maximum potential. Working within the team to deliver the agreed sales budget. What you need to be successful? You are flexible and understand the importance of meeting agreed targets and the high expectations of our clients, and are willing to go above and beyond to deliver. Must have previous experience in the height safety or rope access industry. Must be able to read, interpret, and complete take-offs from architectural plans, aerial imagery, and drawings.
