McKeon Group has over 70 years of experience managing construction projects. The Construction division focuses on delivering projects of the highest standard, emphasising safety, integrity and quality.
The 360Works division provides turnkey building and fast response maintenance services. The team consists of contract managers, project managers, in-house surveyors and skilled tradespeople.

What's the Opportunity?We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full Cycle Business Development Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving our continued growth. This is a full-time, permanent position. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for the entire sales cycle, from identifying and qualifying leads to securing new contracts and building long-term client relationships. You will work closely with other departments, including operations, estimating, and marketing, to ensure a seamless client experience.
Reporting To:Group Sales and Marketing Director
Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with company goalsConduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities in the construction and facilities services sectorsGenerate qualified leads through a variety of channels, including networking, attending industry events, cold calling, and digital marketing effortsQualify leads and develop a deep understanding of client needs and challengesContinuously expand and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads to achieve sales targetsCollaborate with internal stakeholders such as contract and commercial management to develop innovative methodologies and solutions for unique project challengesPrepare and complete prequalification documentation, methodologies, tenders and presentationsNegotiate contracts and ensure they are commercially advantageous for McKeon GroupBuild and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, exceeding their expectations throughout the sales cycle and beyondTrack and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as lead generation, conversion rates, and revenue growthStay up to date on industry trends and best practices in construction and facilities servicesSkills / Experience / Qualifications RequiredMinimum 5 years of experience in a business development role within the construction services industryProven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue growth in a similar environmentStrong understanding of the Irish construction industry and its key playersExcellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsAbility to build strong relationships with clients and colleaguesSelf-motivated, results-oriented, and highly organized with a strong work ethicProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteExperience using document design software is a benefitA valid Irish driving license is preferredBenefits of joining us in the Business Development Manager RoleMcKeon Group prides itself on its exceptional and motivated people, and you will be joining a professional, warm, welcoming and enthusiastic teamGreat location - beat the commute to DublinPension SchemeIncome Protection and Death in Service schemeMembership of Employee Assistance ProgrammeExcellent opportunity to advance your career and progress within the GroupCompetitive salary based on experience and qualificationsLocation:Hybrid Role – Head Office in Ashbourne, Co.
