Balancing these priorities results in projects that advance the quality of life in communities across the globe.About the roleStantec (Energy & Resources) is seeking a talented Business Development Manager (Engineering) to join the team in our Perth office for 2025! Reporting to the Business Development Lead. Your daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Build business relationships that lead into new business opportunities, through planned site visits, meetings and presentations, consistent with the Client's identified program of works.Develop and implement a Client Relationship Management Strategy.Continuously maintain a client and prospect database across your Key Accounts.Support Stantec and Project teams in the development of successful bids and proposals.CRM Management and IMS Opportunity entering / Pipeline update on shortlisting/award.Provision of scope support to estimator and assistance in the development of estimates.Coordinates the preparation of written and graphical elements of opportunity response documents such as proposals, qualifications, brochures, and presentations.Interacts with operations personnel to support development of collateral.Works with designated response team members (technical administrators and the Proposal Specialist (SP Team) to develop opportunity response plans in alignment with our M&BD process.Set up 'Pipeline' to prepare and assist in the establishment of the opportunity response.What we offerAlong with a competitive salary we offer many other benefits to ensure your professional development & wellbeing is ongoing.Option to purchase additional annual leave (up to 4 weeks).Learning and Talent development programs - including global programs, online learning and on-the-job learning.Mentoring for your own development and the opportunity to mentor others.A friendly team environment, with dedicated and enthusiastic staff committed to producing high quality service and deliverables.Active social club with regular activities, including Friday after-work social drinks and pizza evenings.Public transport to the front door and end-of-journey facilities - secure bike, escooter charging points, showers & lockers.Professional memberships.Salary Continuance Insurance (SCI).Mental health and wellbeing programs.Service recognition awards.Employee Assistance Program.To be successful for this role you'll needDegree qualified, preferably in Mechanical Engineering.Circa 7+ years demonstrable mining operations & engineering experience.Understanding of the Iron Ore mining material handling systems & process NPI environment.Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability working in a diverse environment.High level of autonomy and good time management skills.About StantecThe Stantec community unites approximately 31,000+ employees working in over 450 locations across six continents.
