The role: We are working with our client to find a Business Development Executive (BDE) to grow their business in four key end user market segments: EV Fast Charging Service Providers, C&I, Government, and Infrastructure, as well as the associated channels such as EPCs, system integrators, consultants, solar retailers, and distributors. The role is Australia-based and requires travelling. Who You Are: You are an impassioned advocate for the energy transition, ready to make waves with cutting-edge technology. With a hunter's instinct, your background in enterprise sales in the renewable energy and energy transition space is just the beginning. Your deep understanding of the Australian energy market and its nuances, coupled with a strong network and a track record of success in our client's targeted segments, makes you stand out. If you thrive within complex sales environments, get exhilarated by closing long sales-cycle deals, and have a dedication to both learning and winning, we're looking for you. Your Impact: Forge relationships with key market players driving the EV Fast Charging Service Providers, C&I, Government, and Infrastructure sectors. Navigate complex sales with precision, nurturing leads and closing transactions with finesse. Influence the sustainable progression of energy consumption and management. Responsibilities: Generate a robust pipeline and manage deals catalysing growth in our clients' core sectors. Surpass quarterly and annual targets, demonstrating exceptional sales acumen. Pioneer strategic planning, market research, and cultivate strong enterprise relationships. Translate intricacies into captivating value propositions and curate bespoke presentations Remain at the cutting edge through involvement in conferences and engagement within industry circles. Seamlessly liaise with our product teams, contributing your insights toward innovative solutions. Your experience: A university degree in business, engineering, energy management, or related. 10+ years of excellence in business development within the energy domain. Mastery of consultative and solution sales techniques, driving deals from inception to close. Proficiency with the latest sales and business productivity software.
