Business Development Manager - Corporate Insurance BrokerOur client is a leading player within the WA Insurance Market, and an integral part of a major international billion dollar insurance brand listed on the ASX.They have a unique career opportunity for someone wanting a new direction, one with a definite career path, not just a "job".The role is - Business Development Manager.Coming from the banking/professional services sector, you will already have solid existing business client relationships that your clients know and trust.This role would require you to utilize these existing connections to play a major part in introducing these clients to your new "Insurance Broker" employer. You would open the door and attend initial meetings where client insurances would be discussed and how the Insurance Broker could potentially offer superior service.All existing new business leads coming through would be given to you to create an introduction in much the same way.Your career would not only see you do this. You'd have ongoing training to help you understand the technical knowledge of insurance broking, which will enable you to prepare insurance documentation for presentation, close deals, and manage the insurances for these business clients with the support of dedicated administrators. You'd be supported by the team of Managers and Directors within the business to become successful in your transition.To be successful in this role, you MUST have & be:An established Relationship Manager responsible for generating new business within the Business Insurance World (retail/private individuals is not of interest).Driven, business-minded, and have a good reputation within your existing working space.Structured and competent with IT (Excel, etc.).Eager to take on a new challenge within a new professional services space.Great at developing external & internal relationships and can deliver on promises made.The successful individual can expect a healthy & generous remuneration, plus a good commission/bonus, additional company benefits, and the knowledge that they are heading into a new direction with a fantastic organization that will make your transition successful.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a Corporate Business Development Manager?What's your expected annual base salary?Do you have a current Police Check (National Police Certificate) for employment?Do you have a current Australian driver's licence?
