About the Role:



As the dedicated Business Development Manager for Canberra, you'll be at the heart of driving regional business growth by strengthening relationships with key local customers, including waterproofing contractors, tilers, joint sealers, and builders. With substantial growth potential among an established client base, you'll work closely with the local branch and have the support of a skilled technical team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on variety, values client partnerships, and is ready to make a meaningful impact in the ACT region.

 


Key Responsibilities: Drive business growth by building strong relationships within an established client portfolio and actively engage new customers. Deliver exceptional service, ensuring a positive client experience that fosters long-term loyalty. Assess client needs with your technical expertise, offering tailored, high-value solutions. Prepare accurate quotes and tenders that align with company standards to support sales objectives. Act as a trusted on-site advisor, providing hands-on support that builds customer confidence and satisfaction. About You: To excel in this role, you'll bring a background in sales and business development within the construction or related industries.



You'll also have:


Front-line sales experience with a track record of success. Exceptional relationship-building abilities and excellent communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems, with a detail-oriented approach. Self-motivation and a results-driven mindset, with strong negotiation skills and a focus on customer satisfaction. A valid Australian driver's license and the ability to travel locally, including approximately two nights of overnight travel per month. What's in It for You?
