We are currently seeking a CAF Business Development Manager to develop the business and support our Western Australian members.
The Role
The Business Development Manager will promote and grow the CAF business to achieve Connective's overall strategic goals and vision. Success is defined by upselling, assisting and supporting stakeholders to ensure a smooth and seamless asset finance application, every time.
Other key responsibilities include:
Identifying and increasing CAF sales growth from existing state and national database
Identifying and developing business from the broker community
Educating and supporting brokers on CAF queries, benefits and how to sell/process applications
Managing lender accreditation process, outcomes and efficiencies of processing team
Working closely with all internal sales staff to ensure sales targets are achieved and remedial actions implemented where appropriate
Contributing and supporting the CAF Learning & Development strategy and implementation
Maintaining an ongoing and real-time understanding of CAF sales performance
Working closely with the Head of CAF to plan and execute acquisition, growth and retention strategies
Promoting CAF through attending relevant events, visits, networking and presentations
The Person
You will have strong knowledge in both consumer and commercial lending along with the capability to interpret products and policies and confidently discuss deals. You will be self-motivated, thrive in a diverse environment and enjoy building long-standing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You will also possess:
Demonstrated experience in a relevant sales role with Asset Finance experience (financial services industry is desirable)
A thorough knowledge of credit
Experience using CRM systems (ideally Microsoft Dynamics) to generate insights and plan activity
Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills
Strong commercial and analytical skills with the ability to work efficiently and autonomously
A current Australian driver's licence and own transport
