Be part of Bendigo Bank.About the roleAs the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible to build the strategic plan to gain market share for the localised area. You will spend a large portion of your time utilising your business development skills to build long term connections with local community groups, stakeholders and partners to drive business opportunities.You will be responsible primarily for customer acquisition and having the ability to establish and maintain quality referral partner relationships. Prospecting and networking skills will be critical to ensure continued growth.This position is located in Newcastle. The role is permanent, full-time.About youHighly developed lending knowledge and credit analysis skillsBusiness development capability and proven community networking skillsEstablished quality referrals and networks (advantageous but not essential)Understanding of financial management, business acumen and risk frameworkAbility to exceed customer expectations through an understanding on their individual financial needsDrive to acquire a diverse customer base and meet business targetsOrganised approach to managing volumes of work with initiative and attention to detailSelf-driven with the ability to work autonomouslyCustomer focused approach with the ability to assess customer needs and tailor practical lending solutionsWhy us?There's so much more to a career with Bendigo Bank than just banking.
