As a Business Development Manager at RedPoint, you will be pivotal in driving the company's growth and maintaining its market leadership position in the automotive industry.
Based in the Riverina region, your primary responsibilities will include maintaining and protecting existing customer relationships, expanding wallet share through education initiatives, and acquiring new customers through proactive outreach and relationship-building efforts.
Key Role Responsibilities:
Customer Relationship Management : Cultivate and maintain long-lasting relationships with existing customers in the Riverina region. Understand their needs, challenges, and opportunities to provide tailored solutions and exceptional service. Business Growth : Drive revenue growth by expanding wallet share with existing customers through proactive education on product offerings and value-added services. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. New Business Development : Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Riverina region. Although your focus will be Riverina, ideally located around Wagga, you will have no geographic boundary if you need to pursue opportunities. You should demonstrate strong skills and motivation to utilise cold calling and networking strategies to establish relationships with potential customers and convert leads into sales. Market Understanding : Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics in the automotive sector. Leverage this knowledge to identify new business opportunities and position RedPoint as the preferred supplier. Sales Strategy : Develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans to achieve sales targets and objectives. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with company processes and support in executing sales initiatives. Customer Service Excellence : Ensure that customers receive outstanding service at every touchpoint. Address any issues or concerns promptly and proactively to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty. Reporting and Analysis : Provide regular reports and analysis on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback. Utilise data-driven insights to optimise sales strategies and maximise revenue opportunities. Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in collaborative and autonomous business development, sales, and account management, preferably in the automotive industry. Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to connect and communicate effectively with customers at all levels. Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets with significant resilience and tenacity. Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalise on market opportunities. Results-oriented, with a track record of delivering exceptional customer service. A tenacious attitude towards achieving new sales and helping grow our customers' business. Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office suite. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within or externally of the Riverina region as needed.
