We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join the Sales team based in Sydney, Australia. Reporting to the General Manager ANZ, you will be responsible for all sales, trade marketing and daily operations in the APAC region. It is an excellent opportunity for a successful, ambitious individual to next step an innovative branded business and lead existing customers while driving new business opportunities. What you will be doing: To grow the APAC business through new product introduction, category growth and distribution expansion. Work alongside our distribution partners to drive all Key Account sales within the various marketplaces. Establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders (Wider Sales Team, Customer Service, Sales Planning & Promotion, Demand and Supply teams) and contribute to develop and improve current processes. Manage and develop the main day to day functions of the APAC business. Sales, Trade Marketing and promotions. Develop the strategic plan for the business and execute effectively, always looking to exceed budget. Develop a senior level network within all distributors, increase engagement and commitment to the brand. Establish and build the brands long-term presence in store and in the market. Successfully manage new product introductions and category expansion. What we need from you: A clear history of successful business development. Experience of working within a consumer/branded business. Ability to build and manage forecasts and budgets. Experience working with Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG). Chinese or Japanese language would be a benefit. Experience of dealing with major National and Regional accounts and or distribution partners Experience of channel management (Grocery, Mass, Specialists and Pure Play) Understanding of trade marketing including sales planning and promotions. A strong networker and capable of influencing at a senior level. Analytical and numerically strong.
