The Business Development Manager – Genomic Medicine ANZ for Cytiva is responsible for strategic and tactical planning & execution to successfully drive growth in Genomic Medicine in ANZ.
This position is part of the GenMed team located in Australia and will work on a remote basis.

What you will do:
Provide strategic and tactical planning to successfully deliver sales, order and funnel targets for GenMed, driving forward all GenMed accounts (where this role holds direct account management responsibility) & other GenMed opportunities across ANZ.
Responsible for driving optimal operating mechanisms to monitor and track progress of all opportunities in the pipeline, and accurately forecasting performance against Operating Plan.
Lead Funnel Management, Monthly Business Review & Opportunity discussions with APAC & Global stakeholders.
Educate, coach and direct the differentiation (position, value proposition and key messages) of products/solutions/services within the complete Genomic Medicine portfolio.
Ensure collaboration between all parts of the Cytiva ANZ commercial organization - building internal stakeholders and Account Management synergy to continually increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Support our key customer relationships and distribution activities within ANZ for Genomic Medicine through strong customer Voice of the Customer (VOC) knowledge.
Who you are:
Technical capability baseline: Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a Life Science subject, or comparable work experience Commercial capability: At least 10 years of experience in account management, sales, product management or strategic business development roles in the biotech market.
Customer understanding: Must have a strong understanding of the Cytiva customer base across various Genomic Medicine modalities.
Stakeholder management & networking: Current network and track record of building relationships to persuade & influence customers at all levels.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage/lead cross-functional, geographically disbursed teams.
Location: Based in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
Ability to travel including overnight stays, within ANZ and globally as required for role: approx.
