Business Development Lead

Having regard to Broadmeadows Basketball Association's Strategic Plan, the Business Development Lead is responsible for the identification, development, delivery and servicing of business development opportunities and growth. Periodic event management activities and risk management review are also elements of this role's remit.


Identify and progress opportunities for partnerships in the commercial, communities, education and government sectors;

Ensure that existing partnerships and sponsors are being serviced in accordance with the agreements reached for those relationships;

Work closely with the Operations, Programs, Community Engagement and Projects teams to understand and add value to their needs, in terms of marketing, access to facilities and facilitating innovative approaches and solutions;

Plan, manage and deliver events captured by the Broadmeadows Basketball calendar including Junior Broncos and Senior Broncos presentations, Big V season launch and Big V in season commemorations;

Monitor, update and implement mitigation measures related to Broadmeadows Basketball's risk register.
