We're continuing to grow our capability & capacity to deliver large scale projects in the renewable energy sector and to support our project pipeline and so we are on the lookout for someone to join us in our Commercial team.

About the Role: This newly created role will report into our Chief Commercial and Legal Officer and will be a great role for someone with 5+ years' experience managing project development pipeline(s) or technical project delivery, you will be commercially minded, have a passion to work for a small but ambitious renewable energy organisation and ideally hold a tertiary qualification (Engineering or STEM preferred). A strong background with technical sales and business development and/or experience in with energy markets will serve you well in this role.
Particulars of the role: With a deep understand of our technology, the role is responsible for leading pipeline projects, building and maintaining relationships with potential and existing customers and the interaction with electricity systems and markets. Business Development will lead projects in a structured process from inception through to customer commitment and sales as well as support site evaluation and assessment which may include travelling nationally or internationally. 
You will maintain momentum on projects and guide pipeline opportunities to critical project stage gates and apply your technical knowledge to support stakeholders in techno economic modelling and commercial proposals. 
This role will play a pivotal role between RayGen, pipeline opportunities and some of Australia's largest energy providers.

Required Experience:
5+ years' experience in any of the following – managing project development pipeline(s) or technical sales or business development (Essential)
Engineering/STEM background (Essential)
Tertiary Education (Desirable)
