With a combined history spanning almost 50 years, Windana is committed to making a positive impact.About the programOur Strategy & Impact arm partners with Operations to enable the strategic growth and development of impactful, safe and inclusive services to the broader community. The primary focus of this group is to partner with all leaders across the organisation to define and drive our strategic priorities while maintaining an outward facing presence as we identify, establish and maintain external partnerships.And this is where you come in!Following the launch of our new leadership structure, and with an elevated focus on impact, the Business Development & Impact Manager will be tasked with leading the articulation of frameworks and documents that strategically position Windana for solid foundations and for growth, development of new services, coordination of strategic assessment and the development of new business opportunities from identification to service implementation.In this position, the successful applicant will have significant experience in the not-for-profit for purpose sectors. Apart from exceptional written and verbal communication skills, this role will:Support responsible, ethical and safe practice in partnership with other teams or groups within and externally to the organisation.Maintain an oversight of an ecosystem approach and centrally support program development and implementation.Empower change and growth via the articulation, development or review of new or existing service models.Ensure program models for funding opportunities are developed in collaboration with key stakeholders within the organisation.Ensure evidence informed decision making by using data or interpret learning into practice.To be successful in this role, you will have:Formal tertiary qualifications in public health, or related field, such as business.At least 5 years of experience in the non-profit, for purpose or government sectors driving projects to achieve systems change.Capability to:Collaborate with and ensure input from all internal stakeholders in developing and implementing new programs.Support the enhancement of the organisation to pursue new business opportunities.Develop and implement business development strategies, analyse and report trends to inform decision making by the executive whilst aligning with Windana's strategic directions.Co-ordinate strategic conference presence and presentations.Work with the Chief Impact Officer to pro-actively identify and pursue business opportunities within a not-for-profit setting.Bring excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder engagement and project management skills, as well as knowledge of various sectors, a commitment to meaningful collaboration and inclusive engagement with Lived Experience staff and clients.Demonstrated ability to analyse and articulate complex concepts and communicate them to a variety of audiences.Ability to set, analyse and report on KPIs for operations and progress on key projects as these are managed in a systematic, methodical and orderly fashion.The teamWe're a friendly, dynamic bunch of individuals that value continuous improvement and collaboration.
