The Opportunity Reporting to the General Manager – Sales, we are looking for an experienced business development professional who can identify and develop new sales opportunities and deliver a robust sales pipeline across the portfolio of properties.
About the Role New business development and account management within the corporate, travel management and group/entertainment sectors.Proactive sales calls to qualify and prospect for new business in line with weekly KPI targets.Agency visits and presentations on portfolio of properties.
Cross sell other destinations and locations based on client travel requirements.Conduct client site inspections, host clients at relevant entertainment opportunities and attend trade shows.Complete corporate RFPs and account tender documents and optimize opportunities to deliver room revenue targets.Account manage and activate all new accounts to grow market share.Reporting and completion of activities logged in CRM.Any other reasonable tasks allocated by the General Manager - Sales or Chief Commercial Officer.About You Proven experience in sales, preferably within the hotel or hospitality sector.A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Sales/ Business Development capacity in the Australian market with a successful track record.A good understanding of the accommodation sector with existing relationships within key markets and clear understanding of the distribution network.Experience in HubSpot or CRM is preferred.Confidence to put forward your ideas and contribute to a dynamic team that makes decisions and acts on them quickly.Self-motivated and ability to work autonomously in a hybrid role from home or hotel property.Enthusiasm and hunter mentality to go after new business and convert new accounts.A good communicator and team player who focuses on organization success and has an entrepreneurial approach to business development.Ability to work full time with Australian resident visa.Only successful applicants will be contacted.
